Spotted: Ciao Italia Restaurant Orlando

Once in while Authentic Italian food is done properly by large chain restaurants such as Maggianos but usually to get the genuine native taste you must find small family owned establishments. The last four years I’ve spent in Florida I have struggled with countless places that just didn’t quite match to my favorite family owned and operated Philadelphia Italian Restaurant Ralph’s. The minute I stepped in to Ciao Italia I knew I found a gem simply by the AMAZING smell that waffles your nostrils. I was greeted by owner Josie whom makes it a point to engage with every customer who dines in her own comforting motherly way. She scolded me for not accepting her previous invitations to enjoy the restaurant as my mouth began to furiously water from what her husband Chef Antonio was sculpting in the kitchen. I apologized for losing her contact information and properly dug into the well excuted menu. Needless to say our table sampled quite a bit of the menu and everyone was over joyed with flavors, portions and authenticity. Ciao is like a quick visit to Italy for fine Italian while you are in Orlando.
