LOS ANGELES – Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker decided on an unusual preparation for Saturday night’s Three-Point Contest.
“My preparation was none,” Booker said.
Doing nothing is doing something. It worked for Booker.
Booker made 20-of-25 three-pointers in the final round of the Three-Point Contest to win the event for the first time in his career.

“My rookie year I stayed at the gym extra, shot off the rack a lot more,” Booker said. “This time I just got here, practiced right before I went out there and ended up coming out with the win.”
