It looks like the fashion mogul and gaziliionaire Tommy Hilfiger is continuing to step into the world of hotels with his new company Hilfiger Hospitality. The Raleigh Hotel, located at 1775 Collins Ave, is apparently in its final stages to become a Hilfiger property with plans for renovations and reopening for 2015.
The deal technically isn’t “official” but it is reported that it will close soon and is as officially as can be at this point. This will be the first major venture that will be ready under Hilfiger’s hospitality company, but he also bought another property in North Miami last year as well.
Read more after the jumpThe only downside is that Page Six is reporting that Hilfiger and crew are planning to make the hotel a private member’s only type hotel/club, similar to the Soho House brand.
