Floyd Mayweather will spend 90 days in jail after the holiday season for a domestic violence charge.
TMZ reports that the boxing champ was sentenced to 6 months behind bars but 3 months of the sentence was suspended.
Also reducing his time are 3 days credit for time he has already served.
Read full story and watch video after the jumpThe boxer was previously arrested in September ’10 after the mother of his children told police he struck her “multiple times in the head with his fist” and then threatened to kill her.
She also said the beating took place in front of their children.
Floyd struck a plea deal with prosecutors in the case and a felony battery charge was dropped against him.
He will turn himself in by January 6 to begin serving his sentence.
